  1. How much will it cost to have you make a broach bouquet for me by April 1 2012…. I have about 20 broaches I want to use and im searching for more! :)

  2. I’ve never made one. If you look at the links it is pretty simple to DIY. They are one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen but I haven’t gathered enough brooches to make my own first one. I’m being picky cause some of mine are from family now deceased.

  3. I just finished buying all of the stuff that I needed to make one. It ended up costing me like, $50 altogether. I borrowed a few brooches from my grandmothers, and then I found the rest at Michaels and various thrift stores. They aren’t very expensive, unless you insist on using top of the line everything. Brooch bouquets are meant to be something unique and special, so that makes borrowing them even more special. There are plenty of tutorials on the internet about how to make them. This is definitely a DIY project that you should absolutely make yourself. That’s what makes it so cool.

    • I know that DIY for brides is a great way to go to TRY and save money, but you would be amazed at the money, stress and time saving that a wedding coordinator can do for any bride. As a wedding coordinator, I can’t tell you the number of brides and it is big that end up hiring a coordinator after attempting it themselves because they need us to get their event organized. Now to my point, I make brooch bouquets also for some of my brides. A great suggestion if you want to do it yourself and it turns out like the picture is to have invitees to your showers bring you a brooch to add to your bouquet. Have each person initial or sign the back of the brooch with a sharpie and you will have even greater memories.
