I seldom actually drink tea but I like pretty, vintage and delicate tea cups and saucers. Best of all, I like when they are not a set, all perfect and all matching each other. A mismatched set has more charm and variety and seems less tight laced and formal.
Whether you drink a lot of tea or just a little, a pretty cup and saucer is a treat and just nice for Valentine’s Day for someone who doesn’t want chocolates, candy, flowers or much of the traditional Valentine romance. Instead, think of a teacup (don’t forget the matching saucer because the actual cup and saucer should match or you just look like you are very bad at washing your dishes).
This blushing vintage pretty comes from Etsy. It’s a bit expensive but it really suits Valentine’s Day.
See, I’m not that hard to please and I don’t have incredibly expensive tastes. this daisy sparkler is only $14. I would love this for Valentine’s Day. I don’t have a Valentine and I’m not especially looking for one. They are really only seasonal, Valentines I mean. Brooches never go out of style, or season!

It’s not even Valentine’s Day but I found this pretty toy. It even has a special case of it’s own. Found on the Adam and Eve site.
These are on Amazon for sale. Too late for Valentine’s Day but really sweet set for someone. Wouldn’t they be cute for a girly tea party?
Yedi Houseware is the shop name on Amazon.
They come in colours too:
Whether you are dating or single this Valentine’s Day you should give yourself a bit of luxury, fun or romance today just because you can. Don’t dwell on being single, not being with someone, not this or not that. You are alive, you are a woman and you have it in your power to ignore all the negative things and celebrate the positive.
Take yourself on a date! Get an idea of your own or have a look at the ideas on $30 Date Nights. In particular I like the night photography date. Wouldn’t that be an adventure. Give it a try.
