Is there a government service or branch which keeps people in quarantine for life? Should there be? Most of all, what would it be like to live that way?
This is what I wrote this morning (but I only sent the first sentence):
Are there places where Canadian people are permanently quarantined? I do not have covid but I do have other viruses (all those herplex/ cold sore/ shingles sort of things) which I have had most of my life. No one else in my family has them. My family act like I am contagious and I guess I am. I'm tired of living like this. Is there somewhere I can go where I can be quarantined until I die? I don't have a lot of stuff, no children, pets, car or property. I am single, divorced almost 20 years ago. It would be nice if I could keep my computer and some of my books. I'm 55 now, so statistically I don't have a lot of time left anyway.
