Also from Retro Festive, but currently out of stock.
Found this advent calendar and I like it so much I went to the site to see what the cost would be, with shipping. Amazon has it for over $200 but at the site it is about $60 in Canadian money. So, I thought I was being smart to order from there. But… they don’t ship here. A note pops up telling me to try another shipping address. Well, that isn’t going to work out so well for me. Why not just say they can’t ship it. Most people don’t have addresses other than the one they are ordering from.
Anyway, that was disappointing. So, I’m just posting the link and the scanned image from the site.
These come from Time Concept, Inc. They are music boxes – Christmas houses/ villages on top of an antique looking dresser, sofa, stool, and a bathtub.
Too late for Christmas this year but such a great idea. They make the sugar cookies as usual. Let them cool, then turn them over and use a line of icing on the back to stick the candycane onto it. Of course, make sure you position the candycane to be hooked onto things. The site says to let it set about 45 minutes.

A nice idea to have beads as the lights on the tree. I picked a poinsettia for my Christmas brooch this year but looked at lots of them first. (This was one of them).

Corporations have the resources to hire graphic designers so it’s really great when they do – and come up with something nice for the holidays. I noticed this one today from an ISP out in BC.
